More specifically, responsibilities included the hiring  and supervising of 13 staff members in both the Erie and Harrisburg offices; the management and oversight of the Senator’s various committee appointments including participation at hearings, drafting/reviewing legislation and working with various related stakeholders; organizing and prioritizing all critical issues and required information for the Senator to facilitate efficient decision making; acting as a point of contact and gatekeeper between the Senator and other stakeholders; and working with other senate and congressional offices to address constituent issues and drafting meaningful legislation.
