VP, Corporate Counsel, Erie Management Group, LLC, 2016-2018As Vice President – Corporate Counsel for Erie Management Group, LLC and its affiliated entities, responsibilities include serving the interests of the company Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer by reviewing and handling the day-to-day transactional business. More specifically, responsibilities include the organization and direction of the company and its related entities’ legal and defense matters; providing legal counsel and guidance to the company executives and various department heads; preparation and review of contracts, leases and other legal documents; and general research of case law, statute and regulations on legal matters affecting the company and its related entities.

Chief of Staff, Senate of Pennsylvania, 2012-2016As Chief of Staff for Pennsylvania State Senator Sean Wiley, responsibilities included managing and oversight of all administrative, financial and operational activities of the Erie District and Harrisburg Capital office while serving the interests of the Senator and the constituents of the 49^th District. More specifically, responsibilities included the hiring and supervising of 13 staff members in both the Erie and Harrisburg offices; the management and oversight of the Senator’s various committee appointments including participation at hearings, drafting/reviewing legislation and working with various related stakeholders; organizing and prioritizing all critical issues and required information for the Senator to facilitate efficient decision making; acting as a point of contact and gatekeeper between the Senator and other stakeholders; and working with other senate and congressional offices to address constituent issues and drafting meaningful legislation.

Attorney, Erie, Pennsylvania, 1989-2012As an Attorney, responsibilities included managing and maintaining all facets of a legal practice including office administration, research, writing and litigation in areas of general civil law; estates and probate; business, corporate and contract law; real estate; family law and bankruptcy. More recent concentration in the area of workers’ compensation included the management and oversight of a defense contract with the Commonwealth’s State Workers’ Insurance Fund for Erie, Crawford, Jefferson, Clearfield, McKean and Warren counties.
